Good and Nice are unrelated

Rachael is trying to prove a point about what social justice consists of. In order to do that, she gave an example about a Tumblr user who posted a list of non-oppressive insults and then explained. According to the blogger, social justice isn’t about a world where people are nice; it is simply about a society where people can live equally. In other words, in order to live in a more equal world, we have to be ethical and not polite. Being nice can lead to many problems, the main ones are marginalizing, abusing and privilege. If a person has fewer rights than others but is treated nicely, there still is an injustice. In order to access to social justice, people should stop confusing the good and the nice. An equal world isn’t a world where people are nice to each other’s; it is a world where all different people have the exact same rights.

  1. Check moodle for your grade. The Main Idea is too broad. Your reference to Tumblr is too specific and Inaccurate. The Tumblr site tries to show how niceness is good. The body at the beginning doesn't follow the order of the text. But at the end of the body it does.
