The Revolution Will Not Be Polite

Nice vs Good

“The issue of Nice versus Good by Rachael” discusses the thin line between being nice and being good and how that concept is applied to social justice. Rachael demonstrates the truth behind being ‘nice’. She depicts that people who behave in an affable manner generally expect an equal exchange. However, she supports the idea that being nice is not necessarily fallacious but the intentions behind it is what differentiates it from being good. Rachael also remarks on the characterisation of oppression and how it is not equivalent to upsetting someone, in contrast to popular opinion. Ultimately, being nice is what leads to the control and oppression of those marginalised people.

  1. Check moodle for your grade. The main idea can be written more clearly though its correct. The "affable manner" you speak of does not reflect an idea in the text. This is plagiarism. Your wording and grammar is weak. And you do not seem to follow the order of the text. The last sentence is the best one.
