Rachael is a blogger who has a goal, to eliminate
discrimination in the world. She wants people to be able to differentiate
between niceness and goodness due to the fact that their conflation has become
a major problem because it is leading to the oppressed accepting unconsciously
the injustice towards them.
She thinks social justice is getting rid of privileges and marginalization.
We have come to a point where niceness is used to abuse others especially women
by men because of our socialization. Privilege in her opinion is not the
behavior of others towards you, it is the advantage of a certain class of
people over others when it comes to rights and opportunities. Not being able to
differentiate between meanness and oppression is also a cause of injustice,
racism and oppression.
A nicer world is not the goal it’s equality between all
people no matter how different they might be from each other.
