Hi Blog! It's Sara

This is Sara Nasser speaking (Sara without an ‘h’ if you haven’t noticed). I am a half Lebanese half Mexican-American cocktail who barely speaks Arabic or Spanish (although I somehow ended up learning French along the way).  I grew up in California but later in my life moved to the United Arab Emirates. I am now on my third week of living in Lebanon.

I don’t get why people are surprised when I tell them I want to be a mechanical engineer.  Even my physics teacher questioned my decision! Besides that I want to minor in music, which isn’t a surprise when you hear that I’ve been playing piano for 12 years and guitar on the side. I’ve always wanted to be in a band, so if you feel like having a jam session - call me!

I like swimming, I love chocolate chip cookies, and I’m hoping to improve my writing skills this semester. I’m looking forward to blogging with you all! <(^-^)>
