Social Justice

According to Rachael’s article on social justice, niceness and goodness should not be conflated. It is incorrect to associate niceness as a main part of social justice because oppression can be disguised under the form of niceness. Social justice also takes into account privilege and marginalizing. There is also confusion between meanness and oppression. In conclusion, people should differentiate between being good and being nice in order to allow social justice to occur.

  1. Great Job. Refer to Moodle for your grade. Your Main Idea is good, could use a little more specific wording. You are missing a point: That niceness actually harms social justice movements.
